Tasman Solutions Business Bundle is designed to
provide businesses with a Domain Name, a Website, Internet access, a
permanent Internet presence for their company and other essential value
added services, all for a low monthly price. Businesses now need so much
more than a simple dial up and single email address that we've introduced
The Business Bundle to cover these requirements:
Jetstream or unlimited dial up Internet
Access
This covers unlimited dial up access from a
business calling from a business line or the Internet charge related to
the Telecom Jetstream service. Telecom will still bill for the local call
charge or the Telecom Jetstream charges. Dial up is available toll-free
nationwide. To use Jetstream requires an enabled exchange.
A Domain
Name For YOUR Business
A domain name is a permanent
address on the Internet where your business contacts and customers
can always find you. Anyone contacting your Web site or sending
e-mail to your staff will see only your unique address, not your
Internet Service Provider's.
DNS
pointing
To have a domain name (e.g. ts.co.nz) requires
it has somewhere to "live". This means that when people try to find the
website or send an email a machine somewhere live on the net needs
to tell the webpage request or the email where to go to. The normal charge
for this is $75 per annum.
High-Speed, Reliable Web
Hosting
Your Website takes advantage of Tasman
Solution's always on, high-speed, industrial strength connection to the
Internet. As a complete ISP Tasman Solutions does not and could not use
some of the cheaper connection methods available. The server (machine that
hosts the website) is monitored at all times in case of system
errors just like all Tasman Solutions services. The Business Bundle
includes the charge for a normal business website.
Email and
pop accounts
Having your own website means you can have
addresses like yourname@yourbusiness.co.nzThis give
advantages when setting up new staff, positions, agents or agencies and
branches, eg bluff@yourbusiness.co.nz You can make up home addresses
and make up an address on the fly without having to apply or pay
any extra. Your aliases will all point to your default email account,
and others are forwarded other accounts as requested. Some services charge
for these email accounts and even each email address! Tasman
Solutions includes this in the DNS charge of $75 per annum and is
included free in the Business Bundle.
A
link on the TS sites page
A page on the Tasman
Solutions site and other associated sites showing links to our customers
websites. This helps with "link" based search engines such as
Google.
A static
IP
This means you can have a perminent place to
"live" on the Internet. Most Jetstream or dialup customers get a new
address every time they logon. With a static IP you always have the same
address. This means people can find you and given the right software and
security arrangements they can logon to work. Ideal for telecomuting! Some
services charge $50 per month for this alone!
iBak online backup service
The
monthly charges are included for the best way to keep your data safe.

Nightshade antivirus system
The best
email antivirus system we've ever seen. All your emails are scanned for
virus content before they come to you. It updates hourly! Most
businesses seem to wait until a virus strikes before getting this service.

Anti
Spam
The bane of many email users. The longer you have
been using email the more spam you get. Some of these can be quite
disturbing! Our antispam service has two levels:
Level 5 -
On testing has shown on it will eliminate over 95% of spam though
some other emails such as Microsofts Passport and some corporate styled
newsletters emails will also get blocked.
Level 10 - Stops
86% of spam and allows emails such as corporate price lists
through.
Easy Invoicing
Many businesses have
requested a tidier (simpler) way to view their accounts. One invoice per
month is all you get during normal operation of you Internet activities.
With the following exception:

free with annual purchase
The Business Bundle is $84 per
month but if you pay your one year subscription in advance you only pay
for 11 months. That's $924 for the year!
Domainz Charges
Once you own you own
domain then you are charged by the domain administration body. Some will
opt for a .com or other overseas option. These charges vary so this is
billed normally directly from them. The charge for a .nz domain is
$74 for the first year then $44 per annum.
The advantage of this
is that you own your own name and can move it at will. Some services try
to tie you down to their service so you are stuck with that host!
Sometimes they charge you extra just to use email as well! At Tasman
Solutions we feel if our service isn't good enough to keep you...then we
don't deserve to keep you!

We are always introducing new services. We often
respond to market demands before the market even knows they exist!
SMS messaging of emails is coming very shortly. This is the ability to
arrange an email address that sends the email stright to your
cellphone. Next will be an online calender service. We are trialing this
at present and finding it very useful. It includes the ability to share
files and address books and bookmarks.
