As you may have heard Tasman Solutions has had financial difficulties and has been placed into receivership. Snap, voted as TUANZ ISP of the year 2009, has taken over from Tasman Solutions to ensure that customers continue with the same high level of service that you have come to expect from your local provider.
Who is Snap? Snap is the South Island’s largest independent Internet Service Provider and has been offering services to Nelson since 1995 under the name “NetAccess”. When we say South Island, we mean South Island – all our shareholders are based on the Mainland and this is also the base for our operations. We plan on making over our Nelson office (located in Stoke) within the next few weeks, so stay tuned and we will update this website with more information soon.
So what does this all mean for you? Your email, broadband, and websites will all remain unaffected you will not need to change anything. Well, actually, we will be upgrading all DSL broadband connections to our standard “full speed” plans - we don’t do DSL broadband at anything less. That means that your broadband will run as fast as your line can operate, and you’ll have a simplified product set to choose from. Oh, and you won’t pay anything extra for this.
